Florence A. Mukum is in charge of the children and here are her comments:

“I had an opportunity to bring up my 4 children up as a single mom .So God impressed in my heart that if these children can honor God in their lives l will have no burden and no problems while bringing them up, So l caught this vision and knew it could also work in the life of all children l came across. This further lead me to serve in the Children Ministry in my local church in Africa located at Azerie in Bamenda under the leadership of An anointed Man of God. By name Rev Eyong J. who also loved and very much supported the Children Ministry”.

I am Florence A.Mukum co-Proprietress with Pauline F.Nsum. We were both members of an International Christian group in Bamenda, where we met in 2002. In 2003 we realized we both had a common compassion for children and the desire to train children up with the fear of God Proverbs 22.6 (NIV), start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
I had an opportunity to bring up my 4 children up as a single mom, so God impressed in my heart that if these children can honor God in their lives l will have no burden and no problems while bringing them up, so l caught this vision and knew it could also work in the life of all children l came across. This further lead me to serve in the Children Ministry at my local church in Africa located at Azerie in Bamenda under the leadership of an anointed Man of God. By name Rev Eyong J. who also loved and very much supported the Children Ministry. On the other hand my sister in the lord Pauline was an orphan at an early age; she encountered a lot of hardship to grow without both parents. I remember she told me children need someone that will show them care and attention. We both started to pray that God Should direct us how to show concern to the children around us especially the orphans.

In 2003 we started “Good News Clubs” where we taught children Bible stories, played fun games and leading them to Christ in our neighborhood in Bamenda.. From our personal savings we bought the Kids gifts and served them snacks during these club activities. This went on successfully, and many children gave their lives to Christ but to our greatest dismay in August 2003 when we went to one of our Good News Clubs on a street called Old Town in Bamenda, we were chased out, that we were bringing a strange religion into the Catholic Church neighborhood. We shook the dust-off our feet and left.

In July 2004 God revealed to me that l could start off a Nursery and primary School where we could do these Bible club activities and lead children to Christ without being questioned nor stopped. I was blessed to be an educationist by profession and l studied personnel Management in 2002 so part of the task was accomplished, l prayed and shared this vision With Pauline. We prayed God to lead my Father PA John Mukun to offer his house to us, so we opened the school by faith in September 2004; we started with 46 students including 8 orphans and 3 underprivileged kids.
